Xi's article on Party history learning to be published

BEIJING, March 31 (Xinhua) -- An article by Chinese President Xi Jinping on learning the history of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will be published Thursday. Chinese envoy to UN proposes to realize non-proliferation through multilateralism

Chinese troops set out for Snowfield Combat and March Competition in Russia

Top legislature adopts HK electoral reform bills

  China's top legislature on Tuesday voted unanimously to adopt the amended Annex I and Annex II to the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The two annexes concern the method for the selection of the HKSAR Chief Executive and the method for the formation of the HKSAR Legislative Council and its voting procedures, respectively. The amendments were passed at the closing meeting of the 27th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress.   President Xi Jinping signed presidential orders to promulgate the amended annexes. Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the meeting, which was attended by 167 members of the NPC Standing Committee. Transportation of military's spring recruits to be wrapped up

This year’s recruits transportation work will continue until March 31. According to an official from the Transportation and Delivery Bureau of the Logistic Support Department under the China's Central Military Commission (CMC), the transportation of new recruits runs through railway, water transportation and air transportation. Among them, air transportation focuses on transporting recruits to Tibet, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Yunnan and other areas with inconvenient railway and highway conditions. China's Tibet opens memorial hall on serfdom history

LHASA, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest China on Sunday opened its first memorial hall on the historic movement to end serfdom 62 years ago.
